This may be in the wrong section but...

Have any of you ever tested the difference between MP3 sample rates?

Is 320kbit overkill to the human ears?

I have one song I want to send out & want it to sound as good as possible.

Yep i did, but after 256 kbit you don't heard that much of a difference by the ears.
Me as a beginner i'm using izotope ozone to make anything ring louder.

Half the people here hate mp3, and even I can tell the difference between a badly encoded 160 and a WAV. I don't have any 320kbps files, I don't have a great listening chain, and if it was up to me, I'd settle for 160 and that's more than enough.
