I always wonder what is this box ...
The sites of the manufacturers will respond better than anyone!
Basically, keyboard specialist red monotimbral sounds "vintage".

UTILIZATION

The use of this keyboard is: a + button + one led by a potential function knob to dose.

SOUNDS

I then spoke

OVERALL OPINION

Hi all

that's it, I fell for the NE 3. Unfortunately, I did not have much time to spend right now.
That said, here are my first impressions hot:
The keyboard is ... soft in soft. I almost feel that you can do worse in terms of keyboard light. Fortunately, once you turn on the beast, he does a magic thing: the sound is so good that he manages to forget that damn touch. (Phew, we breathe).
Curiously, these are the sounds "exotic" which pleased me most, so I start with them!
Mellotron sounds are terrible! Obviously, this is very typical, but for people like me who love Genesis (the first time, of course), it's tripper to have the same sound on the album.
The Mellotron flute sound instantly recalls "Strawberry Fields" Beatles. (You'll understand that I am fond of times)
The harpsichord sound is stunning, especially the sound of friction triggered when you release the keys. I know it's not very modern, but hey, play a few Bach pieces on such an instrument provides a rare treat. (And there is also the harpsichord in the Beatles!)
There are several models Klavinet, but I can not draw a sound like "Superstition", unless you use the ready-made preset, which actually adds to its gross effects. (So that was it!)
Wurlitzer sounds are chilling, and make you want to replay the integral of Supertramp. And when you push the gain of a little knob of the amp simulation, but the sound gets dirty with a beautiful color ... and "What I'd Say" is a must! (Ray Charles).
And sounds of Rhodes then? Well, in the rough, they are a little bland, a little flat, as Klavinet (!). But the treatment is going well (tremolo, etc. ...), they become simply magical, sound like and what can be heard on the disc ... Do Clavia (sorry, North) has cracked the secret of his ultimate offering samples of core faithful but not very flattering, and treating the effects that apply? That's what I wonder.
Still, fortunately, there are "presets" that show what to use to ring keyboards simulated by the Nord Electro.
For the organ is a little like this: If we play the sorcerer's apprentice, moving dashes in all directions, and with a chorus set incorrectly, the chances are that it does not ring. Again, fortunately, the presets are there to lead the way!
I will finish by the piano: The piano sounds are ... confusing! Not that they are bad, far from it, but the vibrations and resonances are, well, strange, with one side very "live" very "scene" (I do not know how to explain it). And anyway, on a keyboard like this, I do not see much use trying to play the piano, at least not have another keyboard.

Important Note: There are no sounds of guitar, no bass sounds, no drum, no sequencer on the NE 3.
Ok, in the "samples", there are many brass ... but just to show we can do, not to use it!
And if not: No pitch bend or modulation wheel. But hey, who wants to make a bend on a B3, a Rhodes or a Klavinet?

To conclude:
The sounds of this keyboard, once properly adjusted, are simply sumptuous. (Well, say they sound better than their counterparts in such a pattern!). The presets provide a few ready-made and it is handy.
In terms of ergonomics, there is no simpler: A & led a button function (roughly).
This allows truly "build" his sound (!), But for my part, I must remain modest: For now, I better starting from the presets that I change some settings rather than the sounds in the rough.
Other than that, this keyboard is red and light, and includes an internal power supply. (No transformer)

So, when I have a little time, I will try to record some demos
