Happy owner since 3 months, and after a week of direct comparison at home and repeated the Northern Piano, I submit that this is only my opinion.

(Pro jazz pianist, possessing P80 NS88EX, SV1 to use jazz funk)

Sounds:
customizable through the editor and the 3 sound pack, I have only rhodes, and wurli clavi + pianos and organs. Rhodes excellent, super grain, Wurli and clavicle are the best I know in sample material. Directly associated with an expression pedal, I have a wah superb, allowing me to get sounds sublime mid-pedal.
Which is unfortunately not possible on the North Piano. This one to rhodes with excellent attack interesting, but wurli clavinet and are clearly not at the height of SV1. Moreover, I find that having fun at least after a while with rhodes Northern, colder, more dishes.
With SV1, I found all the sounds Chicken, Big Fun, On The Corner, Chameleon, Cantaloupe (version Nobu), Butterfly ... and having fun!! Not the case of the North;
However, it must pass through the editor to set the correct speed and touch, to avoid reaching the maximum sound too quickly.
The sounds of piano, I can make it difficult for me, short, synthetic, "pinched" and not worth the Northerners Piano in terms of sampling, but identical in terms of gameplay because of the touch Clavia . This one seems better solo, but as a group, I feel that the 2 are equal.
Organs Pack 2 are not too bad to repair.

Touch:
somewhat elastic, it is more comfortable than its competitor. But if moving again by the editor. I find it very average for pianos (difficulty to repeat a note rapidly) and acoustic organs, but perfect for the electric pianos.

The effects are excellent, much better than the North Piano, but it must still pass by the editor to save the setting finer notament for amplifiers. I love the wah wah, tremolo, compression, chorus and phaser, and ambience effects (delay room. ..).
I think I've ever seen as good effect elsewhere.

Design: with his foot, he could well be in the lounge. I like the interface that does not interfere (near the knobs obviously embarrassing for some). And it changes from red in fashion on stage (I 88).

The strength: y 'lateral play for the keys ... but no more noise than the North Piano, and do not mind the game I carried out my house 2x a week to rehearse and concert use pro. I see no reason why he released me ... well the contrary view will delight buyers used, especially as some sell out easily. So much the better, it makes a very keyboard accessible.

So: a great keyboard pro and amateur scene, excellence in matters of vintage sounds, but bof for acoustic pianos and organs. Suited to his touch. Modeling effects mediated by super efficient and simple in expression pedal for wah wah. Design with the foot, I love. Strength, playability All for a price that is more accessible, not elitist.
After 3 months, it will replace my NS88 that I use only for Rhodes, acoustic piano and Wurli. on the other hand I keep my P80 which is a reference to the acoustic piano (Touching +++++, Sons pianos + + +)
