5 octaves.
Chorus, phaser, flanger (1 effect at a time) adjustable speed and depth.
Reverb and echo (1 time) adjustable in intensity and duration.
Pitch bend, modulation wheel, sustain.
Mono and stereo outputs. Midi and USB (software exchange provided Windows and Mac).
Poly 16.

UTILIZATION

Absolute clarity as to the heyday of knobs: each section is clearly identifiable. Hyper Edition easy.

Manual supplied with the French non synth absent from CD-ROM! You have to download on the site Studiologic. Apparently, the French is not the height of the staff. Making contact by email gives a succinct message via an automatic translator ... Yeah, blah, blah ... and rebof

The manual also mentions an information table Onde available separately. Super. Unless it is absolutely untraceable. What is perplexing.

But once you download the manual, it is verified that 95% of the parameters are obvious, even without the manual. So the machine side, it's really great.

SOUNDS

My impression is that it can be very varied in style sounds.
The effects are mild with only two parameters for each, this is not enough. The reverb is very cold (requires for update, hope it will fix the OS v.2.00).

Question realism: this term seems to be used only imitations of instruments. I have not tried everything, but Sledge allows precise work up the harmonic spectrum, and some tests plucked strings and organ pipes impressed me when the rendering quality. In fact, this quality is also found on the pure creation.

OVERALL OPINION

I own this synth for 1 month. I compare primarily with other vintage synths. I think it offers a near souplessse a Roland JP-8. Sound quality side, it is probably higher (that said remaining on conventional forms of wave).

The feature I like most is the existence of three oscillators.
The feature I like least is the routing LFO too global departures, sometimes frustrating!
I added a feature that I do not quite understand: the noise generator (white and pink) which is just sent into the filter. No possible modulation by noise; that's really a shame!
