I use it for nearly a year and it never let me plant the most Adi is the quality of materials, it is with a brushed aluminum coating and jogs have some sort Anti coating draping. However the BIG problem is that jogs are not sensitive, so when the music is going and you touch a jog it does not end if we do not move a bit which makes it scratch tr s hard !! The pitch is not very accurate too. I pay 280 euros specials on the net and I think for the price it is sold (I mean the original price is about 340 euros) that Virtual DJ is a trial version is a little abusive, but once we're on the pro version, it's happiness. I used a lot in 50 200 people in the evenings and is top !! I would advise anyone wanting dbuter in the middle of DJing.

very easy to take hands on if used quickly
no problems with the virtual Dj supplied with
but no problems occurred during its use for more than 1year

Being my first controller for the price I'm not disappointed (no crash or beug evening)

The current advanced pushes me to go bigger but yes level controller

There really is no trick we love more or less with this console. It is good to start with and get to know the software mix. First used with virtual DJ I reach the end of possibilities very quickly. I then switch to Traktor, a good personal mapping and it is gone, I discovered other possibilities. But it is very limited especially with what it is now.

At the time he was not there many consoles mix so it was good but now it is better to turn to youth in the last hercules, including DJ Control Air that looks pretty good.

To purchase a used yes, but not for the new, there is a RMX 2 and other that are much more powerful and better production.

The RMX Pro is a control surface that has a built in audio interface. It is made better than the first version of the Hercules that came out before it and for that matter it cost about a hundred dollars more. This console comes with a talk over feature, you will just need to plug your microphone into the input slot and you can use it very easily. There are 2 stereo inputs that will also let you bring in MP3’s or other audio files directly from other pieces of gear. This is a great surface to use for a live show; it is actually made for that reason. It is built tough with metal castings.
The RMX also comes with a carrying case; it is very convenient to have it because if you are traveling a lot you do not want your console to get damaged or dinged form it being moved around so much. This console does have a well made job wheel, the jog wheel will give you control over the curser to select songs with.
Adding effects on the RMX Pro is very simple, the effects are not very good but if you know how to use them they will work just fine. This is a great value that you are getting with this product for this price. Yes there are better options to go with for this price range, but the RMX Pro will not let you down. It is very easy to use and set up; you will be using it within 10 minutes after opening it up out of the box. Load up the drivers and you are done, there are not a lot of buttons or knobs. So if you need a control surface with more flexibility to sync with your software then you might want to check out some other controllers.

I have not tried before RMX, it was my first physical approach to the mix.

The +:

- The Connection (for a product in this range I think it is an advantage) (4 outputs + 6.35 Jack 2 pairs of RCA
2 inputs for external sources RCA (Line / Phono))
- The "Kills" for each frequency
- Fader Volume, Master Pitch and fairly rigid (very useful if the fingers and drag you down the volume
- Everything is very responsive
- Many functions accessible database (Master Tempo / Pitch Reset etc.)
- Quick navigation with navigation keys + Jog
- Many re assignable buttons at the whim of each
- Ergonomic working pretty good
- Finishing and robustness of the product (Brushed Aluminium makes very good)

The -:

- Pitch precise (but sufficiently well enough to wedge)
- Jog a little small
- Cross Fader too soft for my taste (increase rigidity => Tips and Tricks)
- Race pitch short enough (but again sufficient, at least in my eyes)
- All the buttons are not backlit, which is a shame, but not essential

Report Quality / price is very good.

With the experience I would do this choice if I was starting again. I recommend it to anyone who wants to learn the basics of DJing at a cost not very high.

For four months, this is my first midi controller but I mix rather a mixer.

This is a nice controller but it is far from a physical mixer.

I tried Mixxx, Traktor Pro 2, Cross, Virtual DJ and I really do not like to mix the pleasure of my Vestax mixer.

I also tried with Audio DJ2, Maya 44 SE but the same.

However, we must put the master in Traktor in-7DB, remove the headroom and disable the compressor.

For the rest it is solid and heavy and I really trust this equipment, the pitch is not very accurate but we can always map an extra touch to make further adjustment if necessary.

So finally, with Traktor and Mixxx, this is very effective and can make very good sets, but the bass and sound while dropping Vestax gives me more pleasure and sensation that the sound of a mixing software .

The difference is even stronger on my M-Audio Studiophile AV 40.

This is perfect for beginners or for connection to your mixer.

As always, if there are defaults, I point out.

Hello, here I am the happy dsormais acqureur of the new Hercules DJ Console RMX ...

To begin, I t surprised by the weight of this one (heavy: therefore stable) ...

It comes with the original USB cable (which feeds the machine, tjs no power supply. External)

software virtual DJ5.0 edition RMX (very basic standard version, but upgradable to 99 in the pro version, it seems mandatory for this type of product)

the manual (very little info INTERESTED elsewhere)

and ... positive, a nylon carrying case that protects well the machine (think the protective effect. ploystirne in).

Installation (Windows XP, Vista, Mac OS) is super easy, fast. For updates or bnficier = increasing the free suppments (skins, effects ... etc.), do not forget to register with virtual DJ .... www.virtualdj.com

in terms of handling, correcting the size of the machine from the mk2 is certainly a major asset, the collection's outdoor abillage trs is pretty ...

buttons: I t's still a little bit, for example, the jog of the cross fader has a little play, by manipulating the table 3/4h, I russi 2x the block buttons and effects loop below the carcass, then, so do not press too hard or risk having to reset the button Chipotte to its original position ... the variable gain are extremely sensitive, do not touch it too ...

in terms of other features to note are two Difference ...

THE FIRST is the navigation of the playlist and select load which is very enjoyable and really easy ... the mouse is dsormais ncessaire at all ... (the MK2 permitted, but not practical ...)

the second, and not least, x2 6 sliders selection of loops and effects ... modular wish, the loop is done with two sliders dsormais separate (loop in / loop out, which can directly choose the length of the loop )....

performance / hardware ncessaire: j'aprhendais a little when I read some essays n'taient not quite conclusive when the sound reproduction (spitting, etc. ...), but dcalage For my part, everything is going well trs, I would say even better than my consoles Previous (MK1, Berhinger BCD2000) ...

Premire approach for the table, I think that report quality / price (370 for Belgium internet + 99 for the upgrade of VirtualDJ pro) dfend it well, but it s 'acts not purely a product of professional ...

User for 2 weeks, but happiness. The mk2 had not really won over, too strong, too small and too pro for me. With the rmx is just the opposite. I bought it by accident a few weeks ago for fun home, nostalgia for old RAPORT THE FIRST DJ console , and I'm ben tonn of rest ahead THE FIRST silent version that really a toy!
Weight, ergonomics, function keys well spaced and sturdy (I spent an hour trying to block a !)..... veil that has changed and it's almost like a semi - pro, yes almost, because there is still some way to go:
crossfader super soft jog out of calibration, the sound is saturated quickly if you play too much with pots, connectors "Swiss knife" we do not really know or connect configurations depending on ... brief full of small amliorations still do, but for that price is the dj a good product!
I honestly urges aspiring DJs who use VDJ (no small flat Version 5 is not the top, but good with the purchase of the dj console it is up to about 100 so it is reasonable).
