«  Perfect for me! »

Published on 10/02/11 at 09:57
This small Mexican has everything you expect from a compact folk.
The real luxury is revealed in detail and simplicity the key and the bridge are ebony, and precious woods as aesthetically pleasant.
Another element to this attractive price range: the rose, which is not a stupid paper stuck in the varnish, but a pattern carved on the soundboard. The neck and body are perfectly balanced, the guitar does not "look" not the head end or side hips.

UTILIZATION

The violin work is absolutely perfect. The woods are excellent and of course the sound is there to testify.
The game is total comfort, it is a treat.
Note the handle screw that allows the heel to avoid large: you can access more easily to the last boxes of the handle.
The action is neither too high nor too low, the settings are impeccable.

SOUNDS

May be considered blues and folk without any difficulty on this little wonder, and many other genres! It should be noted that just as a "compact", this guitar can not give as much power as traditional Dreadnought. But the balance of bass and treble will be appreciated by all: it is "weak" in any way and I think for the price and it gives the full measure of what can be expected .. . and beyond, because this little model "sends the wood."

OVERALL OPINION

I was not very "Dreadnought," I liked the Parlor for a silly reason for shape and size. The bodies of Dreadnoughts, very heavy and / or bulky had never agreed. I was also about to buy an Art & Lutherie AMI, when the BT1 crossed my path. And I do not regret that choice, I recommend it, even.

It may have less "face" (first look) than other compact and it is difficult to show off his look, right away, but behind the simplicity, quality, sound and comfort game are all there and very quickly you can not do without.
