_c'est a very good drumkit input / mid gamme.Les skins are delivered with changer.pour my part, I opted for a remo powerstroke in my other big caisse.tous barrels are remo ambassador.cela make sure a good potato and large son.niveau cymbals come with those are well made .. now I have a z custom crash and hi-hat a ZXT titanium.j 've kept the ride home and added a splash . the result is great and all DEPOSIT!
_Ma SwingStar model is a limited "platinum gray." It is beautiful (see the color of SwingStar spot). It has a good snare drum, but hardware is claquante.le qualité.la pedal bass drum is a little "cheap" I'll get a change to iron cobra.mais all is perfectly reliable and efficient.
_avant I tried one in pearl export, and a yamaha rydeen training tower and a pdp.ya no way, I prefer my little tama and my config 'personal.

The toms sound quite properly, the sizes are very nice, but I immediately changed the skin for clear Remo Powerstroke III magnet sounds pretty dull.

The price / quality ratio is great. This is a kit called "beginner" but I suggest just for rock drummers who want a little fortunate that kit from the mouth. For a few euros more, you can of course afford a Pearl EXR which also offers beautiful vintage colors, but this model is the best-selling Pearl in the world! This is primarily what made me look away! The drumkit is the personal instrument par excellence, one must choose the kit that most closely matches our vision of our music, both in terms of sound, as the visual!
I tried a lot of kits before, including a Ludwig Accent which, in the same price range has almost made me flinch! But what choice I would do without hesitation.

Latest news: It's been a few months that I play on stage and in rehearsal with this kit, and I have no complaints! This is great! on the other hand, I was pleasantly surprised about one thing: while this kit is input-oriented "rock", well I should say that for some time, my game is moving more "light", plus jazz, and I just set up my kit in white skins EVANS G1. Touch and very nice, and the drumkit sounds great! it's even easier to give my old REMO Pinstripe ... And no need to gaffer, there is no harmonic annoying! Notice to jazzeux!

It's a drumkit that I use for 1 year and a half, I RALIS the bulk of my progs on it, I used a yamaha before ZY, well, the tama buried alive.

I love the sound of his snare drum (in mtal yet) but the skin is huge sand, you will tell me it is the late 70 ct so nothing to do with a quality SwingStar today. Pay a mouth of bread (I will not mention the price here), the report qualitprix Exceeds all my expectancy at. Only the skins are changing in the near future, they have served for over 30 years and it will change those in Bass Drum .. Evans G2 skins on the floor tom which it is dynamis.
We regret just tuning it and sometimes duraille pnibles enough vibration of floor tom (I love giving close to the GC but it is virtually impossible task given the fact that vibration) and as I 'm not great partisans of mutes I got a reason to grant it a bit harder.

It is always my main drumkit at the moment, it will certainly trs I RPET, it has nothing to do with the new SwingStar I could try at milonga / paul Beucher / Prima Music and consors, it is a quality and supersolid, trs hard to hurt him, its white color is beautiful, has a little yellowed with time and makes a great vintage look!

Trs a good alternative to Pearls and other basic Yamaha did not arrive ankle!

For how long have you been using it?

2 years, the person before me 1 year and his teacher for 6 years (so I have the old model). It is also like new except for a small touch that I had to do with chamfers.

What is so special that I like the most?

Despite the range and quality of wood, with good skin and very little (or not) of muffler you get a more than adequate.
I used to rehearse, and many novices do not even see the difference with my real drums. A drummer or someone who has the ear would be aware of the difference, especially in light of its harmonic and less color, roundness and precision with the finest woods, but it's still excellent. Especially the bass drum, bluffing! (As always with Tama elsewhere). Even the cymbals are offered much less disgusting than other brands!

What is so special that I like least?

The hardware is not very nice, the support is basic and tom bracket with two holes. The skins offered with ... Basically it's mostly details.

How do you rate the quality / price?

It is rather expensive for its range (prefer the occasion), but largely the best value for money that combines all the competitors I've tried. But indeed, especially for real brands like Mapex or Pearl is also a matter of taste.

With experience, this choice would you do?

As drumkit Repeat ', to start with a true drumkit or as a drumkit replacement: without hesitation.
Of course for the stage or recording it is better to type in the higher-end obviously.
