Published on 01/25/12 at 03:27I started with very small, a fast track, and then very quickly, it took me more powerful. I first switch to DIGI 002, and then HD3 Accel. That need for power for my mix I bought this compromise. I use the studio to record, mix and mastering, music or post-production.
All that running with a big Mac Pro.
UTILIZATION
No worries of drivers, everything works perfectly with Pro Tools HD9.
GETTING STARTED
I had no trouble with installation. For cons to configure Pro Tools properly and the whole station, to get up early, or even not to lie, it's even simpler. The manual is over 1000 pages, and englais, or in French through a translator provided by Digidesign.
OVERALL OPINION
I use it for more then a year and i like the stability of the system, the possibilities seemed endless power. I also like the Grain Pro Tools system that gives the sound that we work.
The price is very high and greatly limits its accessibility but the quality is at the appointment. This is a must for a professional studio.
