Lab.gruppen announced the addition of three new models to its FP range, including the new FP 14000.
Also new are the FP 9000 and the FP 4000, bringing the total number of amplifiers in the FP+ range up to seven.
FP 14000 delivers 14000 W (2 × 7000 W @ 2 ohms) in 2U. The Regulated Switch Mode Power Supply (R.SMPS) has been updated throughout the range to provide more sustained high power during extended bursts of low frequency content, according to Lab.gruppen.
FP 9000 and FP 4000 deliver 9000 W (2 × 4500 W @ 2 ohms) and 4000 W (2 × 2000 W @ 2ohms) respectively, in 2U.
Like all FP + models, the new amplifiers feature Lab.gruppen’s Intercooler system, designed to keep the amplifier cool under extreme demands.
FP 4000, FP 9000 and FP 14000 are all shipped with a NomadLink network interface as standard. In conjunction with DeviceControl software, NomadLink is designed to allow comprehensive monitoring of amplifier status (including fault or warning indications) and to enable remote control of power on/off, channel mute, and channel solo functions.
