« a microphone to the test of time »
Published on 05/08/11 at 05:45Microphone used for singing, brass, snare, guitar speaker cabinet.
Unidirectional dynamic microphone with low impedance (150 ohm).
Frequency response: 40-15000 Hz
Sensitivity: -56.0 dBV / Pa (1000 Hz)
OVERALL OPINION
I pretty much used since I bought it there about 6 years. For voice recordings and as for my guitar amp.
It's a microphone that exists and has not changed for several decades.
I do not think it exists in a recording studio world devoid of at least 1 Shure SM57.
This mic does its job well, however it does not replace everything that is around him. A good amp, good guitar, a good preamp ...
You should know why to use it to get the best result.
Concerning the notation, perfection does not exist but I do not see how I, insignificant student, I can write this product developed by our qualified and experienced big man home Shure.
Clearly, we note them strut.
