The string height is perfect for my style of playing, which is more jazzy. I've heard complaints about a big neck, but apparently mine was slimmer than a fender jazz standard neck. I love this bass. the pickups are of course stock, but i can get an amazing load out of the p pickup. the p/j config is a perfect match, and give the bass a good look too. the chrome hardware is sturdy enough for me.
the volume pot for the p pickup loosened and fell off shortly after i bought it. it's a pain, but i finally just stuck it on really really tight, and it won't budge off now... although if i ever wanted to get the dust off, it would be a big challenge. the body is a bit too small for a standard bass (compared to the fender's big, bulky body), and the j pickup tends to buzz when i'm hooked up to a PA system (bass amps are no problem unless i come in close to it).
constructed in korea! good quality, i guess my main complaint is the j pickup buzzing and the p volume pot.
good bass for a beginner. changed pickups would make it good for professional work, although the sustain is a bit less than good for that kind of stuff.
