Value For Money :
Excellent
Audience:
Anyone
i would use this for anything.
has a great neck, light body , i dont think its ply, rather three pieces of alder or something like that.
hard to see the grain properly, given the finish,
and it certainly is long scale. but had good solid piano bass tone, and , since it was inexpensive, i have no problems seeing it as a platform for modificarion, adding pickups, a rickenbacher bridge i think will help rhe balance a bit.i like it.
maybe i got a good one,
| dont buy chinese instruments new, it would have to be a trade of some kind, due to the politics involved.but at $50 in trade value, and the hardware being reasonable, and the neck being GREAT, its a good project guitar.
i had trouble finding anything on the new about these, so thought i would put my two cents worth out there.
I mod and set up a lot of instruments, this will need the action and intonation set up, the truss rod works,, and what else can i say? i have an old richenbacher pickup i am going to add in, and see how i like it.
cheers.
