I will rpter what a t says:
-Made in Taiwan
-21 Frets to go from mid to mid octavec in 3 above
A micro-type Jazz in the neck position, a position precision bridge type
Electronic-passive
Rglages-simple, pretty and figures: one volume, one tone and a 3 position switch
-The bridge sucks, sometimes it produces a sound of shit, a kind of grid. And apparently I do not think a single

UTILIZATION

This is a beginners bass, so playing comfort oblige!
The use is probably the main strength of this bass.
-The handle is enjoyable, a compar jim harley precision there's no picture! (EEH so I got to the torture of jim harley precision, and more in sunburst with a strap apple green! Yuck !) It glides well and is super comfortable
-The Access in acute nickel is when you are sitting, standing, it's harder with a finger, but overall I do not complain about the above
-Ergonomically, not complain either, it is not great, but balance must hold the handle sometimes! To the extent that my braces (sniff) and my office chair ptent me back more than my bass (for a time equivalent), I think I can say that it is not heavy
-A sound is easy to get, APRS, a good ... we will say that adpend of the amp.
A minor complaint to the button tone: at home, he hangs a bit but most importantly, are serious Submitted 0 5, 5 treble 10, but it's not progressive trs

SOUNDS

Here we go. The sounds are very basic, with no momentum, and it was not that I like. Ok, it may be appropriate may prs music that I play in groups (rock, mtal, punk) but when I want to tackle other stuff (funk rock, funk metal, jazz, .. .), the train was full.
Well, I know it's sad but give it a bad apprciate in part because of my amp, I was given ... An aria AB 30 combo so old that saturates 5 / 10 to the master or ds that attack the rope stronger, and more There's something inside that vibrates cass all the time ... Otherwise I use pedals Banez OD / distortion / volume (PD7) and a Boss Chorus CEB-3.
I prfre-crystalline and banging sounds, with many mdiums and treble and it is not the strong point of this bass. It does, yes, but with no dynamics. So I'm not out, or else it is the fault of the amp. The bass makes it even better when the sound round.
With effects-it is not bad, for example you can have easy Iron Maiden sound with neck pickup (although this is not the prcicion), the background tone and a chorus that lightweight is the depth of sound. It can also be versatile enough sound (pick, walking, even slap unfortunately without dynamic) microphone with the switch in a central position, and tone 4 or 5. I use only rarely micro precision (bridge), I find the sound not quite natural.

OVERALL OPINION

I use this low since ending for one year, and she accompanied me during my progression in knowledge and matrise of the instrument. What I like most is its simplicity and its looks (plutt color, the shape is not super top) In Red Wine for me, and I regret it does not over was lower than in those tones-l.
Before you have it, I touch a Fender Jazz Bass Japanese owned my uncle, and now I'm starting connatre me, despite the diffrence in quality and price, I pr eng mine. And Aventis to have this Yamaha, I had a lou ... something ... rpond that the name of ... Jim Harley precision bass ... a great name for a piece of wood well sanded and color with espces string that filthy, rotten especially on an amp like mine n 'no guts. This means if j'tait happy to receive it, the beautiful
I had it less than 350, so the normal price ^ ^, but even that price the quality the Special price is not bad. For beginners and confirmed, it should.
However, I do not have that choice would do, because I grew quickly and trs j'value four times better for my needs within 6 months (like warwick corvette or music man stingray). But it is one of the best bass for beginners APRS what I hear from others, between the peavey and jim harley worth nothing, that all full-cort assets (active and all 24 frets 200 lol that stuff) but they are all shy ds the branch, and Squier, which are bland and timid imitations of their beautiful sister.
I intend to keep cependans, and when I have another bass I would change the strings of the Yamaha Manir have a configuration: If, E, A, R (BEAD) instead of E, A, R Sol (EADG), and I would use this bass for gravec and the other for the rest. Sr I'm not at all my time, but I do not intend to buy a 5 string, so if someone could advise me the above, it would be nice! thank you
