An editor for Mac / PC?
2, an editor "free" ... thank you to his developpeur...boss / roland does not develop anything but good I used to work directly on the pedal and it goes very fast indeed, the screen is easy to read ... this may be why it's not a priority for them

UTILIZATION

very simple
- The edition of sounds and effects is it easy?
3 simple ways ... (EZ tone), normal advance (deep editing.) It is still important to read the manual, as in advanced mode, everything is customizable so you can spend time
- The manual is clear and sufficient? ...
quite clear but could be more detailed in places
SOUND QUALITY
- Effects are they effective, suitable and adequate ralistes?
bcp effect, all are available, none is fair to fill ... some can be quite difficult to use (I think a simulation of sitar) but jai heard examples posted by users to show that in some contexts they are actually relevant, even if at first they seemed totally unnecessary given
- Which instruments do you use?
microwave double guitars only ... godin, gibson and sometimes with more cheap models ....
- What are those you prfrez, you dtest?
there is everything, the effects are of very good quality overall, the pitching / follow harmonize well, the simulations can be used to synthe ... some are completely useless for my use but it's always interresting if you want to experiment or out of the ordinary ...
for those with galley highgain simulation, the GT10 (and before that WG8) is used on stage by Opeth in two head laney GL100 that serve as power amp ... (referring to the site guitarmessenger.com for photos and videos ) ... so it's possible to do! ^ ^
OVERALL OPINION
I waited a while before giving an opinion, it's been 4 months now that I use daily, and he had this much time to get to familiarize myself with all the editable parameters and all possible combinations . simulator in the category, I also have a ToneLab and with PODXT packs, I have both kept a good time. this is the first time I m'interressais a boss. was first seen it is not the most flattering, it takes work and investment but in the end I'm happy ... of course I prefer the sound of my herbert in a 4x12 but it is incomparable issue Budget (5000 euros vs 350 euros!)
thing to note, it is interresting to note that the monitoring system should not be neutral with this simulator ... good monitoring system (quality) may give a hard time in the most demanding of you , while a simple consumer audio system (basic) give very good results because it provides a default equalization is not neutral .... a finding on my part after several tests and blows of fate ...
boss probably take into account that the average user does not have at its disposal the best equipment available on the market ... but boss has not told from what was modeled each of the outings (except for well-JC120 on): what was modeled "return", "small amp" and etc ... ..'s boss when they used models the headphone / line out, for example ... one thing is for sure ca n is not an AKG 300 euros, I use one and it does not sound terrible, but can be a simple Koss has 30 euros as someone suggested to me ...
short in the end knowing that I would do this choice, I get very good sound knobs that respond well to either very large distortion, overdrive, crunch and clean ... I do not regret my PODXT or my ToneLab .. . the gt10 is a great tool for those who have time to fix it ... those who think the master in 2 hours can ALREADY get their way!
[edit] after hours on and 9 months of good and loyal service, I still maintain my opinion on the GT10, and stresses once again that the GT10 is the opposite of plug and play .... it takes time, sometimes even a lot of time with the usual .. so it has taken into consideration!
