Oulala, pity for the effects list, thank you visit the site of Boss.
Here are just a few very useful features that other multi-effects may not have:
-1 Programmable effects loop
We can change the sequence of effects (their location in the signal chain)
-Insert into the chain of effects preamp distortion or external
-Settings "Master" who can adapt the GT-6 to its environment without having to change patches
UTILIZATION
To create the basic sounds it's going, getting started is easy. To use the full potential ... it is about even more difficult. It always respects a simple logic but the number of options, parameters and possible combinations is so vast that it quickly loses its nick-nack! I had to take notes for me back in my patch! Yet I am accustomed to this kind of stuff (10 years). And it's not the fault configuration, which, I repeat, is very logical.
The manual does help, it is clear, complete and loooong ...
SOUND QUALITY
Regarding the effects, it sounds like Boss effects. As what the pedals. It's very efficient, clean, transparent. Basically it's nickel! Maybe a little lack of personality or soul .... But it is inherent to Boss. We like it or not.
Regarding the simultaneous distos and amp, be careful!
I think that we should not address this pedal and say: "I want a big distortion in the Mesa, so I choose vai Mesa preamp, trigger the red channel, to gain in depth, EQ V ... " ... and ... disappointment! Yeah. If this is what you seek, namely: simulated existing amps that you like, I suggest you go with Line6. You can easily find your happiness.
No no no. Here to find a good sound, you have to say that every distortion, every preamp, each simulated HP, each effect is an "ingredient". It's up to you to combine these ingredients to find the sound you have in mind, and this, independently of the names of simulated. OVERALL OPINION
I use it for 5 years. Never had a problem. 100% reliable.
What I love most: the sounds, opportunities, adaptability to any environment.
What I like least: the color (black GT-8 is best).
I have tried many others and I must admit that there are other products that are very good. But I found the Boss fuller, more successful, with more sonic possibilities.
The report qulité money is excellent.
I remake that choice without hesitation. Except that now I would buy the GT-8. And besides ... it's done!
