« digitech does wonders, but not that! »
Published on 05/10/12 at 13:40First of all the stuff has a good signal to noise ratio, and the bypass function works very well.
The separate output jacks are top and push the little amp / mixer. The output phones separate mini format is great, the machine is very versatile thanks to this panel.
Large processor power, it sounds crystal.
Short latency between presets, you can go live with. The tuner is precise and silent, and color. I'm even used for adjusting the harmonics of a skyscraper, is tell you!
The concept of the machine differs quelquepeu fire my RP150 and other zooms of this century, and is close to my DOD FX7 furiously, explanations:
digitech we offer several types of delay that we would not with the usual trimmings (mix-feedback-time), as the multitap (for floyd the wall for example) or attenuated feedback first then come back. It is very well seen on the other hand to the mix that is shared with the reverb unit, not obvious at first.
For basic sounds well we may well have no model but to benefit from the equalizer, which is impossible on the korg AX3G.
The proposed models are rather in line with old school, rather qu'amplis distortion pedals. And it's good if you play amp!
Considering the price and quality of the signal box is full.
UTILIZATION
Not obvious for two reasons, the mix of common effects on the one hand and large equalizing differences for some models. Eg ds1 has too much treble, so we must put to zero and inflate those of the preset so that it remains clean uniform. And many sounds do not fit well together at EQ.
Against by the models are much more credible than the amp RP150 that are too faded / skinny.
So in the end a mixed use depending on setup, a lot easier by doing the former.
SOUND QUALITY
Very good! Apart from the compressor which is very exaggerated even at least all the sounds are usable.
Honours for saturation, mediums rather well with a grain sufficiently relaxed, loose in Rican! Not much gain in general and it's great for the realism of the result. Of course there are also models for turbulent cap, not sectarian digitech.
I really love the various delays, damage to the tap tempo missing, and spring reverb that mimics the same random plops!
The downside is to navigate in the abbreviations of the models, keep the manual handy.
OVERALL OPINION
A year, mainly on kustom defender amp 5am and not strong, and it's good!
On holiday with good headphones (hd662 Superlux, cheap and more!) Is the total addiction to pingpong delay raah lovely, and clarity of the overall signal adds to the pleasure of playing.
I just regret that equalization differences between models too complicated pairing of presets for the rest it's just a matter of habit.
The transformer comes with, amazing at this price, this peculiarity there is an additional output separate delivering about 3 volts, I see not what it could serve ...
In short if I compare to other critters out of my park it in mind that RP70 in terms of sound quality. In fact it has everything.
Considering the price it's full house, hop
