The effects available include the classic (wah, compressor, distortion, reverb, delay, a so-called simulator HP, etc.). And definitely not classic (the 'step', a kind of stepped flanger, super bender that we must give to describe the metallic, a sort of ring modulator, etc.).
it's 300% digital, there is written in the manual channels disto / saturation are analog and I must say that I do not want to disassemble the beast to look at how we do it to ring in "analog" cold plastoc like this ...
an audio input, stereo output, headphone jack, sam'suffit.
and it is not rack while plastoc hub to 50 cents, including the pedal it will handle nicely.
BUT ... is strong enough (oddly) and for the price what's in it is definitely the best available.
UTILIZATION
Sounds are fully editable when the logic input not very complex but a little strange to the machine-that said, I have a GT-5 as the pedals so incomprehensible I already know.
the manual is at the top. I have ten minutes to learn how to use the pedal.
SOUND QUALITY
The effects ... how to say .... I was looking for a multi-effect that sounds too digital, plastic, cold, digital, and bizarre as possible: usually I use a bunch of plug-ins for its degradation and random delays (like Accelera deck) and I thought it sounded a little clean. So I looked for a multi-effect that could replace all of that plus a low frequency converters échanntillonnage anything but transparent-Well I think I found my happiness! it converts to 32kHz and wheelbarrows in 18 bits (it is quite far from line6 so), which suits rob my guitar 4 strings any beat-
I love block (for now) all the sounds and effects that I tried to, because it is quite precisely what I was looking for, click it, that buzz, it blows in all directions, and c ' is as unrealistic as possible. I have a weakness particularly in the section 'sfx' with effects we believe directly out of the FM synthesis applied to guitar. I plug it directly on my sound card and how to say ... the dream!
on the other hand if you're the guitarist néométal who loves the sound of the guitar, then I think it will not.
OVERALL OPINION
I just buy it for 50 euros so I'm probably still under the excitement of discovery ... I said that there was a built-in tuner? (And it is convenient to use, but other effects zoom I've had it was already like) the value unbeatable seems to me (and there also is the case with other effects that I had zoom and tried), especially if like me you like the effects and sounds cheap DIY.
by against, at the risk of repeating myself, I remind you that "real" guitar sound has nothing to do with what comes out of this boiboite-unless you want to play with headphones and have three effects on your sound for less than 60 euros
regarding the choice to repeat, I will tell you in a few months.
EDIT THE 25-01-2007
Well, I sell my 3030 ... but only because I moved and I can not keep it because otherwise everything I said above is true: a great machine !!!!!
EDIT THE 20-08-2009
I sold in 2007 for $ 45. So I rented for 5 euros for 6 months which I think is more than respectable. And I keep a really good memory of this pedal!
