12 Electric Guitars Tried and Tested - How Does it Sound? Electric Guitars

About a year ago, we had you listen to 27 acoustic guitars and sent you on a trip through a 6-string jungle so you can pick your favorite guitar. AudioFanzine now repeats this experience, but this time with electric guitars.

You get 12 standard guitars, some more expensive than others, played with all available pickup combinations and within five different music styles! So you get 60 videos, which we hope will help you in your quest for the Holy Electric Grail!

We played the guitars with three different amps depending on the music style: Fender Super-Sonic 100, The Valve 2|50–1 and Mesa Boogie Mini Rectifier. All guitars were also directly recorded so that we can feed other amps with different settings in the future. We will publish these audio files so that you can try these guitars with your own amp:
