I've since its release, it is the 7 I waited for ages! Before I was a universe, but very unpleasant sound of a lot of points. What I boot on the apex2:
Strings-through-, for warmth and sustain. Easel tuneomatic improved (not vibrating) button in the box for comfort. -A volume knob and basta
-Mics, the paf pro handle both (very good shot, great thank you munky)
Jack-the universe, or JEM, nothing hinders involved sitting and standing the cable goes where you have to ditto with a transmitter
Channel 5 rooms very stable profile royal wizard2 I think, Indonesian and except for one great end. Kesako? The son that connect the two coils of each microphone is just as twisted tape, not welded, and suddenly the sound is not in top form. So, remove the tape, solder the son and put the scotch. The frets also tickle, little job for a luthier to provide comfort.
UTILIZATION
Perfect, perfect. Nothing beyond, nothing that interferes with, or it's all there is is the top of ergonomics. The heel profile, chamfers fair (not like the strats, finally, true), sitting as the balance does throw up more.
For more sound options (like numetal not really, but almost everything else) I installed a megaswitch, microphones allow almost all brilliantly.
For sound is simple, this is right now and if it sounds it's not the fault of the scratch (yes !)...
SOUNDS
Why then have put the handle easel version too? Well, it wasted low (there are plenty) and adds treble clarity and good music overall. It's really good choice as pinned, and perfectly in tune with the neck pickup.
I have two more with the sounds of megaswitch (still fully automatic, no double switching to low) side of the coil affects only very texmex tire to the Start, and the same coil in parallel with the coil side affects only micro acute this time for a nice funk-blues telecaster saturated genre. I have the noise that affects micro coil position only serious, normal.
So that way the apex2 does everything, and rather well. The mahogany body sounds more singing than the linden (basswood) usually used for the RG.
Now, do not connect the apex of an amp fag, juice and be serious. The fellow below uses an Ibanez tbx65r, and this amp is the real ball, killer in saturax clean as the best choice I would say 250 Roros (going to try the machine, your jaws will stay open a while!) .
I use the big amps like heart rx120d randall, roland bluescube 310, fender bassman 212, but even this is a bit limited with the potato and the grave of apex2.
Is that the bass eat up watts, nothing to do with a strat anemic!
So an amp that has lung as they say.
OVERALL OPINION
If I compare with the universe, there is no contest the apex is 100 times better than both his approval. With my rg7321 is, say, 50 times better.
I tried a lot over the years, and I must say that apex2 is what can happen best in 7-string. No frills and no vibrato and a musicality that others do not.
The 7321 is darker, but also perhaps more charming in rhythmic dark metal (the pickups are great with the lime that filters out the frequencies), I would say it goes well with an amp not typed correct. The apex2 goes well with a correct, no redundancies.
If you want more expressive solos, fewer large rock, take the sword with tremolo version of the race, a different machine to another register. I have an old copy for ages and I do not play ever, there is nothing the spell of an RG.
The charm of rg7 is as big as I bet you do like me ...
Of course there will always be idiots to claim that the layer (and its sounds of pan) connected to a valve junior is the sound absolutely ... I laugh, for attempting to use this combination!
We only live once, make as many things right with 7 strings and an amp very generous: in any case we will always play too loud, even without eh ...
ROCK!
