«  A guitar very surprising! »

Published on 11/17/10 at 12:00
is a 7-string made in japan bridge lo pro edge 7, 24 frets maple neck rosewood fingerboard, basswood body, 2 DiMarzio (from 1998, are blaze II are standard on this guitar; source; The Blue Book of Guitar edition 2010) routed by a 5-way switching, 1 volume and tone.

UTILIZATION

The handle is great, you walk on it without annicroches!
I think this is one of the most enjoyable rounds I've played my entire career as a guitarist!
access to treble is very good and can access the box without forcing 24th and keeping your thumb over the button (must say that I have big hands!)
are obtained frankly sounds very good with!

SOUNDS

I play many different styles and this guitar is capable of playing in books as different as jazz and rock, yes, this may seem incredible, but for a guitar typed "metal" and that everyone has cataloged in the registry then it is capable of sounding funk, metal, rock to Hendrix, jazz and so on ....
I could play it quietly at home and I can tell you frankly that's falling over backwards!
microphone delivers a serious and very very warm jazz (come on, hop! a little "full house wes montgomery fingers in the nose!).
editing sound of a good catch, I could play the blues mean to and I even started a "barn" of the bearded Texan, frankly, it sounds!
split, there is access to sound more precise arpeggios.
central position is ideal for rock to Jean-Jacques Goldman!
mic acute split position, it is in the funk; beautiful arpeggios and specific funk grooves that come without much effort!
Then, and finally, the mic acute arrives, and there it is better to use it with distortion, the sound is too clear out the mids and very precise: it is not necessarily pretty, but it does not attack !
but when to start the saturax is madness!
"Some Kind of Monster" Metallica goes with the obvious and serious on the mic I will not speak on the microphone saturation frank acute; it sounds like deftones!
on 09/12/2010: I found the sound of the neck pickup was too "fuzz" with saturation pushed forward on the amp, so I took out my clée Allen and walked up the pads of the microphones and the result is clear, the sound now is better defined and better corresponds to what I expected from this guitar!
when I read that people have changed the pickups for EMG or DiMarzio Autès they had better, first time, to modify the height of the studs microphones to have a different sound for, swing over 200 € in d other microphones, so we already have on hand more than good microphones, you still have to think before acting ...

OVERALL OPINION

I bought it last Saturday, and, honestly, what kind of guitar is needed at home for himself, and play on it without restraint, and I have rarely dries up praise guitars, but this, for me, is one of exceptional guitars, and those who, when the branch, you say "that one, she fucks the ground so it is good to play and has a sound fall over backwards! "
I tried many, many guitars, and I've owned (and counting!); this, it is simply amazing!
I love the most, the bridge lo-pro edge 7 which is much better agreement than the original floyd, the handle very easy to play, the killing of microphones, sound accurate and versatile, light weight, the access to acute ....
I like the least, this guitar is too often associated with the image of metal and may go unnoticed for jazzman or funkymen who swear by the ES-335 or fender strato, open your ears, you may not come back!
I bought it secondhand € 235 in cash easy and it is the bargain of the century!
the price / quality ratio is amazing!
the last price it was sold was $ 1,300 U.S.. (see Blue Book of Guitars, 2010).
