Considering the price of the scratch, I think it is made in the USA but come from Asia, at least, it's not marked on it!

21 boxes, floyd tremolo, volume and tone control, 3 positions for microphones.
Bolt, round but not too much, usually thick with réducion down to it is not too large. It looks a bit like a sleeve of thickness ibanez perspective, it is rather nice, but even the central stem at least the strings are off the handle in the high ... and that's not super ...
A big problem: Debtor's floyd. When you remove all the strings it will get stuck so it should shoot like crazy in order to tighten and pinch the new string. So, advice: Remove and replace the strings one at a time, otherwise you will really crap!
UTILIZATION
The handle is quite nice without being transcendent!
The problem is that if we want the tuning is relatively good you have to climb ropes pulling big ... better a 46 or 48 in such a ... So it is not really easy to play! What's more, despite a few hours setting it is still a bit wrong! Indeed, the handle to a short scale not suitable for tuning in though!
Access to acute is fine, nothing to say to that level. The reduction of the handle makes it more enjoyable in the bass with the sleeves really right.
The shape is really nice, along with classic while remaining somewhat original. Play sitting or standing does not pose much problem. It is a form of strato dysymétrique, and the head is original. The problem is that it is really thick so heavy. If you want it, it is recommended to buy a good strap for not removing the shoulder after half an hour!

Finally, the floyd is an unspeakable horror! Even the best set, it does not hold the tuning. Basically, if you want to be completely false, you have to retune for 5 minutes every 3 pieces!
SOUNDS
She is very friendly to the neo or death. Given its price, it is the way to have a 7-string without breaking the bank, and as it was when I bought it in 2001, the only brand to offer a first prize in the 7-string choice was quickly done!
For sounds clear the central positions (mainly) or round can get something correctly, or not bad for its price, but it's not a sound strat-far from it! It is round and not unpleasant. Crunches with neck pickups sound pretty good.
For the bridge pickup, I was so fed up of having one's not accurate at all and a storm of feedback that I replaced with a Seymour Distortion 7. It's cleaner, but do not kid ourselves: the most important in the sound of a guitar is the wood! And it is this experience that taught me lol. So a micro switch changes the sound slightly, but not completely!
For the distortion can be something very fat, but you have an amp and a distortion that follow, can amp distortion and really support them, but it is precise enough to make the lead. (I use a preamp engl VOX ADVT 530 or 15, or a spider II 30 watt).
If one has to find a major flaw is that it has a very dug and almost no sustain. For Player Characters désagéable's not alone, but in general we mix is quickly gobbled up by everyone!
After, I had fun at the customize: I sanded the paint and replace it with a base paint and wax. Strangely, since it sounds better: the medium is released, it looks a little more to a real guitar!
OVERALL OPINION
I used it for 7 years without much complain. Since then I have replaced with a ibanez RG 7620, a real guitar what.
For its price, 7 string, it's really not bad, not really versatile, but very honorable! The value for money is good! I tested its competitor in schecter (diamond omen 7 series), the finish is beautiful but the handle, accuracy, weight and sound are much worse!
With experience and the limited means I had at the time I would do the same choice! En 2000 when I bought it was a steal!
In short if you want a 7 string to try to please (but not more than € 100!) It's good to find out if you want to drop the 6 strings détunées. For my part, I do not think back to a 6, soon!
