UTILIZATION
Installation ok,
I find it odd qd even have to upgrade the firmware of the 002 power-up but good.
manual in English, Yeah ...
no printed manual pt
GETTING STARTED
S install the ASIO drivers with pt.
Pt does not turn direct the first crash for no reason of the launch, bp dma so that it no nya bp
I am back on it works, strange.
launch pt crying because I have a file name extension on some of my discs.
Not possible to open a file because that makes it 12 characters, necessarily
pt taken first, not view the map entry, direct monitoring in pt, not really practical, a red and green LED on each input n would not cost much more.
huge latency in normal mode, not envisegeable to an outlet like that.
low latency mode is ok but c c is painful to have to check every time, all of that if you bump with plug (compression, eq) ca is the big change in the level of the mix when making a decision.
j tries asio in cubase (pt must be closed if its not working)
Listen to a mordeaux, pb buffer, I have tried three values and it still does not work, ca m angry.
OVERALL OPINION
It'll be three days I was wasting my time trying to do well with the asio.
Preamp and general cool
features mean and really bad when you work more on protools.
acceptable value for money
very disappointed to have to waste my time still a mess with stuff in the computer, hard, painful painful
Besides being able to advance the project of PT HD, I do not see the interest of this card compared to competitors who are smarter cheaper and more versatile.
