What characteristics have motivated your choice?
The quality of materials, price, ability to record two tracks simultaneously and especially robustness.
With which instruments or systems (console, preamp, DTD ...) do you use the connection and how?
I use it as part of a home studio and for live recently. it is plugged in firewire 800 Special mac and no problems at this level. It works on logic 9.
For what purpose? What is your config (Motherboard / CPU / Ram / Hard ,...)?
I used it initially for private and professional projects for now, the realization of film music.
The sound card is running a macbook pro with 4-core i7, 2 external hard drives, Logic studio pro 9, Neumann microphones and microphone blue (Sparks and Blue bird) Monitors KRK Rockit and M-Audio 30AV, mixer and Pre Berheinger amp Avalon.J 've managed to connect it parallel to my PC running Cubase for pre mastering for MSPs. Several plugins, KOMPLETE AND EAST WEST 7.

UTILIZATION
The drivers are stable? What software do you use most often? How many tracks you get to record / playback simultaneously?
The drivers are fairly stable in logic. It is possible to simultaneously record two tracks (micro or line).
Small flat, there is almost never updated drivers.
I have almost no lag at all even in logic, when I use it with a PC mounted by me, no lag, either with cubase.

The installation is done it without problems?
We must clearly follow the process mandated by the manufacturer if we come up against blockages. But once properly installed, there is no problem in general.
The general configuration is easy?
It's simple enough even it could have been much better at this level.
Have you experienced any incompatibilities?
Not especially because of incompatibilities I generally the same route.
The manual is clear and sufficient?
The book is insightful my faith, even if I had to do without it pretty quickly.

Nearly two and a half years now.
Have you tried many other models before buying it?
Not really to be honest. I have long read and make comparisons between materials.
What is so special that you like most and least?
The interesting quality pre amps without breaking the bank, but above all plug the card and turn it on before turning on the computer, otherwise if you plug it in so-called plug and play, there is one chance in two that the mac makes a black screen, or a mass effect in the monitors that requires a reboot.
How would you rate the quality / price?
The value for money is interesting, I was able to produce compositions which pass to the international decision-making my voice from my home and going to mix in a professional studio, the sound engineer who never had problems with sound quality. I have seen and tested without finding more money after this quality.
With experience, you do again this choice?
I do it again this election if I found a lot more entries and especially with constant SHIFT drivers to refresh things.
