- What characteristics have motivated your choice? The number of inputs and output for this award, as well as the recommendations of the seller.

- For what purpose? Making coffee, and then record some synthesizers, microphones, singing, guitars etc..

- What is your config (Motherboard / CPU / Ram / Hard ,...)? Today MacBook Intel Core 2 Duo 2GHz 2GB DDR2. Before, HP Notebook Intel Centrino 1.8 ghz 512 ram.

Specific level, this small is not too bad. However, I completely agree with the comment of the test. It has 4 inputs but not really very useful 2. Too bad. Otherwise it has what it takes.

UTILIZATION

No problem at all.

GETTING STARTED

Using impeccable since the beginning! Only minor complaint, either on my old laptop or on my new Mac, I occasionally have to go in the driver control of the map to re-engage the output ... he says he is sending the sound but nothing. Just click again to make it work. That way it does not look like much ... but when you're live to the world and play on your t'appuis sequencer .... and that there is no sound ... your air con ... "I still miiiinnnnce forgotten!" Certainly you do not lose that 30 seconds, but you're nothing to stress. Finally there I quibble a bit anyway ..... ^ ^

Otherwise it runs the steak .....

I have come across the director M-Audio France and I told him about the many echoes. It has indeed been a lot of dissatisfaction returns on this map, but he noted that in general, arrived on the problematic situation the devices connected to computers "cheap", very often with a Firewire port of poor quality . Basically, this card can be more sensitive than average (hard to tell), but if you have the hardware quality, it should not be a problem. With my HP, never had a concern, and not with the Mac (besides the return rate of SAV this card when used Mac is small it seems)
I have not tried other models before, so for sound quality, I can not say too much. For me it has a good sound. The ratio Q / P seems to me correct, I just was disappointed by the actual number of entries.

With experience, so I think I would do this choice. This card follows me without flinching for 1 year. It allowed me to save anywhere how ...
