G after having chosen this essay quite a few others: Tascam US-122, mobile pre, etc. but it did not suit my setup: Dell Inspiron 8500, 512 Ram, 40GB HDD, P4 2Ghz.
the characteristic that its most ineterressante MobilePre including built-in MIDI interface and a power unit (even if you can feed it through the firewire cable)
I used mainly for guitar ave a Pod XT Pro, a master keyboard Evolt and Cubase SX.
I have no latency direct monitoring that both software.
I AIM real potentiometer rather than "endless"
UTILIZATION
Absolutely no problem with installation. high-performance drivers.
GETTING STARTED
The original drivers are performing.
the rating of updates I have not the necessary perspective.
with 10ms latency I SX
I test with a dozen tracks simultaneously, no worries
OVERALL OPINION
I've had one week, I find that to computer music firewire is much better than USB2.
function interresting: lorsqu'in branch an external hard drive firewire port on the 2nd of the case, it only works when the interface is active. it avoids to leave it running in permance (my rack has no switch) or having to unplug a chque use.
