Yes, plus the install is available from anywhere on their site (trial version unlockable with the code stored on its behalf).
The general configuration is easy?
Very, all parameters are accessible in the preferences.
Have you experienced any incompatibilities?
No
The manual is clear and sufficient?

Knowing what you know now, would you make the same choice?
Yes, as Live has many features to create music "on the fly." Little EQ and compressors, but it is not her goal of being a dedicated DAW musical overproduction. The need to rewire to another sequencer will work.

Assigning midi is a pleasure, and we just spend many hours tweaking sounds.
