Installation is no problem, as a software "general public". I followed the instructions and it worked.

The general configuration is amazingly simple. I installed it and it worked. I already had the version 16, it was already too complicated, next to a Cubase LE 4 I've never been able to walk properly.

No inconsistency. I have a Tascam US-122L audio interface to record a Midi piano and electro-acoustic guitar. No problem.

The manual? what manual? There is still a video tutorial.

SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

The computer has a configuration that starts getting old. He is 5 years old and runs on Vista (yes! But disconnected from the network), dual-core 2.2GHz processor and 2GB Ram.
I use it for my home studio. The software is very fluid, but a few bugs that will surely come from the sound card that does not follow.

OVERALL OPINION

I installed it a week ago to update the version 16, which I was already pretty happy.
I saw an ad about the new features and what I enjoy most and simplifying the use, without losing functions (in winning even) we are guided through the creation process: a recording section, an editing and mixing, mastering and sharing.
I tried Cubase Lite, too complicated to configure OR incompatible with my hardware and Ableton Live ... not suitable for me.
I love the features / reports simplicity and quality / price. Instruments are configurable qualities and desire.
I do not like the fact that it is so little known ...
I remake this choice with his eyes closed and ears open!
