The installation is done without any worries
The general configuration is easy?
No worries on that side either.
Have you encountered any incompatibilities?
Not
The manual is clear and sufficient?
Unfortunately the Achilles heel of Studio One, not the manual
is not clear but it is not French. However I am confident in the future and I'm sure PreSonus rectify pulls a few months.
In the meantime I encourage French-speaking users of the software to indicate their interest (in English if possible) by a French translation of the manual on this topic the official forum:

SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE
What is the configuration of your computer?
MSI GX660 2.5 GHz Intel Core i5 | 8 GB RAM | WIN 7 64 bit
Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 2.83 GHz | 12 GB RAM | WIN 7 64 bit
Novation Nio 2 | 4 | Novation Xio Synth 25 | Virus TI Snow
Behringer UMX610 | EMU X-Board 49 |
The software works there correctly on this configuration?
No problem on my two configurations
This hardware + software is stable?
Oh yes, not a single crash for almost a year with Studio One Pro v1, v2 and with the same for the time
OVERALL OPINION
How long have you use it?
Few weeks, but hey I'd update my test because I am still far from having tested the new release from top to bottom.
I said I use the 32-Bit.
Have you tried many other models before buying it?
Yes: Cubase for 18 years, Reaper for 1 year
What is so special that you love the most, least?
Goodies:
- Ergonomics is even better than the v1
- The effects and made that have nothing to envy the competition and
which can be more than enough for mastering and such for people who have not necessarily afford to buy bundles to € 2000
- The integration of Melodyne (Pro version)
- New 100 compared to the v1
- No system or protection iLock eLicenser
- The staggering amount of data with sound banks, all kinds.
- The VSTi / VST Unlimited (already the case in the Pro V1), the only limit is the capacity of your machine, I wanted to add this because even today some sequencer software developer limits the amount of VSTi to use.
- The VAS is its reactivity: PreSonus is listening to its community, to show since the release of v2, 3 patches in succession was established to improve and fix some bugs that persisted.
Cons:
- The manual not translated into the language of Molière at the time of writing.
- The 64 bit version is not yet ready to bridge the gap with VST / VSTI in 32 bit but hey it's the same everywhere at the moment.
How would you rate the quality / price?
More than excellent, PreSonus is really a quality mark, they do not care of the mouth of the customer, on the contrary they are very caring to their community and do their utmost to ensure that their products give you complete satisfaction.
The VAS is very responsive and very serious. (I tested)
With experience, you do again this choice?
Yes without hesitation.
