The eighth version of the Propellerhead Reason DAW is now available, along with the new version of Reason Essentials.
Propellerhead is right on time to launch Reason 8 and Reason Essentials 8. New features had been detailed in a previous news that you can read here if you missed it.
Reason 8, with 8 virtual instruments and 25 effects, has a suggested retail price of 405€ / $449 and the upgrade from any previous version of Reason is available for 129€ / $129. An upgrade from Reason Essentials is also available for 279€. A grace period is offered to customers who purchased Reason 7 on or after July 1st, 2014.
Reason Essentials 8, with 6 instruments and 7 effects, can be purchased for 120€ / $129.
A trial version is also available for download at www.propellerheads.se.
