Installing a relatively simple problem ... by installing Midiman cards (Delta / Midisport) yet Distribus by Steinberg!
Configuration gnrale Sx1.06 close enough.
Complete manual, except for simple things, not reported and found one (export LIBRARY)!
SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE
Pentiuml IV 2.8 (hypertreading). / 1Gig Ram / ABIT IC7 MAX3/Seagate Barracuda 120G SATA / IDE Seagate B.120G.
Delta 44 Midisport M-Audio/Midiman 2x2/Sony BLACK TFT 17 Sdms73
Incredible ... all my projects turned over to the max ... Sx1.06 row, despite the Freeze! Despite the dual processor!
For projects LGERS, obviously not a problem, but to use Reason / Vsti (4ou8) + Audio (8 tracks) + Effects (3!) Or more! Forget!
I work with a professional studio .. and not to waiver SX1.06!
I specify that it is the original version ... DISEZ me that's not true! Steinberg will fix that a!!
OVERALL OPINION
From Atari and Pro24, I have always followed Steinberg (Innovative Audio in) ... and my software is Cubase prfr ... so I use it for 86 (Pro 24).
The best is the logic ... the VSTi / Vst..le worse than a ream dry, and super powerful machines that do not take it!! How far will stop on?
Still I struggled to remain faithful, but these days, no longer pays a lot!
I await an explanation for the management of Hyper Treading (which is apparently not!) In Cubase SX2!
