I just bought a Focusrite Scarlett Solo and I wonder what a normal gain knob position for a condenser mic would be on this device? I have to turn it till about 5 o'clock before I can hear it properly in the recording and then there is a lot of white noise. There is hardly any sound at all at 4 o'clock. Does this mean that there is something wrong with my xlr cable or condenser mic? I have a Behringer C-3 mic and I use Pro Tools to record.
