The SP model has in addition a set of cut-off frequency (16 to 160Hz and 3k to 32k) but also a gate (-70 to -20) limiter (-6 to +20 dB) and a module to +-8dB across a frequency range (16 to 160 and a 25k 2k5)
The only "trick" that does not switch on / off and frequency.
It is quite possible disconnect / connect when the system is a bottom. Only the disconnection will cause a short break but no "POP" noise or other devastating.

UTILIZATION
Very easy to use. You turn the knobs or we change the position of the zippers are opened and the ears.
It can hardly be simpler.
SOUND QUALITY
The sound quality is impeccable. It is not quite clear, from what I heard when it is activated the bass is much less clear and overflowing with everything "0" so that it is more beneficial.
Each pull affects the signals, we can choose exactly how often knock / increase.
OVERALL OPINION
I use it for several years without having a very competent person. I did have acquired some time ago.
The characteristic I like most is the sound of the unit and precision! I like the least .... er there is none.
Before I have a small pro behringer ultra-graph but it is not comparable. One is a toy and the other a true turie. With the behringer one could move the buttons in all directions there was no significant difference. I had the opportunity to have eq yamaha but they are even worse.
The value for money is very good indeed the unit is expensive but worth the cost. I do it again without hesitation that choice (bought on ocaz fanzine: D).
Note that the audio is buy scv-mail and again the same eq (with a mug of green Martian any) under reference EQ231-GSP
