For me this type of pedal is first used to refine the balance of sound that comes out of my guitar, so it is placed at the beginning of string (or amplifier chain equalizes the end, then equalizes the distortion, reverb. ..: it's useful but it is something else)
Second, it has 7 bands and a total volume: it can be much thinner than "bass / midrange / treble" and reduce or increase specific frequencies.
Finally, this pedal can also be used to boost its medium and its volume, by snapping at a solo example to further decouple the mix of the group (it is also ready to be what the "turbo" mode of DS2 for example).
Input output format boss, boss sound, impeccable.
UTILIZATION
Config ultra simple. We listen, you set its frequency to its taste.
