UTILIZATION

SOUNDS

I like the sounds, but it's a box electro: she sounds weird. Blip, click, buzz, zbroing, shuiiiifff is speaking has not it lol, but snares, bells and so on.

OVERALL OPINION

I have been ending for five years, and I get tired of it, since I had other machines (cf.mon profile) but none can replace (from a synth or VA may be), it's personality!

The best: the delay, the simplicity.
the least: the knobs, no envelloppes, a single MIDI channel.

I paid quite expensive I think 5 years ago, the manufacturing quality is not great, I say a for knobs and jog, if not the pads of squenceur are enjoyable and r lay always!
Considering the price it currently rated Rasht I also dry!

Specifications are available everywhere, to make it a simple drum machine and not a midi sequencer (the EA1, ES1 EM1 and new generations can fulfill this role). The disappointment of this box are those who thought they had a midi sequencer. I repeat this is not a groove box, a drum machine is sexy. 9 So it's worth because its limitations are clearly announced and it has done its job.

UTILIZATION

All of these parliaments are adjustable via an oscillator (pitch / depth / speed / type) + an amplifier section (decay / pan / low boost / level)
Factory Patterns (256) are rich enough, in all editions patterns and allow user to realize the versabilit of the machine in all styles. No soft ddi provided for editing via PC but full MIDI control in master or slave via an external sequencer.
The delay section (depth + time) applies to the stereo output signal, adjustable tempo (tempo dly) or recordable in real time (motion seq).
All functions available for editing patterns (move / copy / insert / delete)
Sequencer with 4 X 16 not editable 16/32/48/64 in sixteenth, eighth and triple ternary (sixteenth of 12 steps).
The "motion seq" allows you to record in real time the changes of the parameters of the filter and the delay to create the original morphing. Pattern with emphasis level.

UTILIZATION

The grip of the machine is relatively intuitive, a half-hour hack and 2 or 3 visits to special functions for manual and it was all inclusive .. OVERALL OPINION

I use this little box for 3 years in Slavic with cubase, it's a good machine with good momentum, instead of a 909 or elektron but nice. Sounds good though heavy kick to the snare 808, charley fine enough. Ring modulator function interresting. Too bad the delay can only apply to the stro lments and not to spare. It would also spares AIM outputs for each pad but is stro, period. Veloci two accents on t would also be a plus.
AI1 the couple for bass lines, the BAR is a closed concept despite its good investment for a live report qualitprix OCCAZ satisfying.
I do complment is that now, but I spent hours of pure exploded with this toy, so I do not regret the purchase, plus a c'tait KDO, lol ..

Use level, we can find it easier ^ ^ It took me two hours to take charge = D I never touch the machine and always sound with my pc. Coupled with a sampler and a table we believe soon be a pro = ') ...

I wanted m'innitier in hardware with a BAR inexpensive. I thought of the ER-1 because it provides good sound editing software without a bunch of users and it's fantastic.

It allows me to create good patterns and store them in the DAW. I use it for compound house, techno, electro.

OVERALL OPINION

Since four months.

BAR is my first and I am very satisfied.

It m'appport flexibility to make rhythms that I did not succeed with the software.

A very good value for money. Currently you can find them for about 130 €

I am completely satisfied, but I might be able to buy a superior model ... but also the ER-1 occupies less space in my little studio and it does a good job.
