installed today in V1 in my head Laney GH50L, instead of an unbranded loupiotte is very much a Sovtek. In V2 I also have a DD, but a ECC83.
Other tubes essays:
12AX7EH. I tried 3 or 4 that I have in reserve price. Too much background noise (may be not a very happy marriage with the ECC83 in V2)
JJECC83S: its too gloomy, RESULTING certainly a consanguineous marriage with his sister in V2)
Tung Sol 12AX7: its very right to gain lev and the background noise very acceptable. A bit steep for that GH50L adj sound bright enough (but what my forefathers gain !!!))
The JJECC803S offers a warm sound while offering increased over the DEFINITIONS JJECC83S. This is not a lamp High Gain far from it but in my case (I use my GH50L to clean even a big crunch and Lger distos are supported by a Blackstar Dist-X)) it served its merveille.Je recommend it to fans of vintage style sounds old Marshall and I recommend a pair ds as possible. You can never be too careful!
