Published on 07/14/14 at 10:32I think JJ product good enough lamps in all but this one, I transferred all my amps, current and past.
To me, his record is without relief or dynamic, flat and dark. The clean and shiny Fender sounds, JJ ECC83s the hurts, the beautiful crispy distos that in acute Marshall, it's not for her either. It costs almost nothing but worthless. There are better for the same price, although I can not advise anything, because I do not use that NOS preamp. This is probably the low cost which explains why it is found in many new amps.
I say after trying a very large amount of current and former tubes ECC83/12AX7 and say that I know a good end amplification tubes.
