Looking to boost your crunch for the solo, it's her.
You want to improve the sound of your tube amp at low volume, it is still.

UTILIZATION

A power supply like Ibanez AC109 is needed to avoid unnecessary buzz, or even just the battery (green but not always useful in concert).
SOUND QUALITY
Unbelievable. Finely dosed in there, I know too that the engineers have done but what is good. The sound is clearer, fresher, clear, precise, alive. Plus this is far from subtle in the result but it is in the processing of sound itself.
In short, sly, but so what smack.
I speak for the use in front, not try to loop.
If you need to lower the volume of your beautiful tube amp (depending on location, it still plays too much is well known), you lose your beautiful sound at once and that's where the nitro is magical because it restores a part of the foil, and it is more bearable. So it limits the damage issue.
It being understood that EVH combo mid volume is what can happen better at any self-respecting rock guitarist, provided he has his earplugs!
OVERALL OPINION
This is the pedal that I expected a lot of years! Exit the tube screamer and co, and everything else. Saturated channel to boost you will not find better than nitro, if you listen to your ears. You can spend much more you complicate things even more, but the result will suffer in front of the nitro. I know I tried, years m'enquiquiner with overdrive, boosters ineffective or not beautiful, tubes or not, and so on.
It would be foolish to miss such a device, or the price it is ...
