Boss has been pretty much the leader in guitar guitars for the last 30+ years. They have built decent sounding pedals, some winners and some losers, but most of there units have been very low priced. This has been a policy that has pretty much kept them on top of the pedal market heap for many years.

This pedal is a decently sounding and pretty inexpensively priced which allows many guitarist to try out this unit. The pedal have four control knobs that control the EQ of the pedal. Along with a sub control behind the filter knob that allows control of the highs and lows of the filter.

SOUND QUALITY

This pedal is great for subtle chorus all the way up to a lush almost flanger type tones. This pedal has a decent range of motion with the EQ but nothing that is like the Tc Electronics corona chorus. Comparable to that pedal this thing is clinker box that doesn't have the sweet warm that the Corona has.

I like using this pedal in a high gain amp for some good lead chorus lines that has a enough modulation to cover some of the open gaps in the electric guitars distortion range. This give s more sustain in the single notes lead lines and fills in a lot of the tonal gaps.

OVERALL OPINION

At new these pedals come in at around $99, which is a great price for a decent sounding pedal. I would argue that the best priced chorus pedal on the market is the little yellow one from MXR. That one is priced around $80 and it is tru bypass which this pedal is not. You can shell out another $30 and get the Corona from TC Electronics and have a much more usable and warm pedal.

the general pattern is somewhat complex because there are many possibilities. but there is a good sound in 5 minutes.
the manual is in English, but clear.

SOUND QUALITY

the effect is very effective, very well.
I was looking for a chorus very transparent sound without coloring my swollen.
you can go to hyper chorus very discreet with this chorus, tremolo limit.

I have been using 2h intensive and I am very satisfied. that's what I wanted.
I have not tried other models, but I read many reviews on the net.
I like: the size really convenient sound in general.

Rglages simple, and offers lots of possibilities.
I had put cot because I stop the pedals and all a. .. Then I had to get back. And actually, not bad ...
In short, a beautiful chorus, it is not ultra transcendent, but it suits me.

It hums quite Frequencies in serious, but I love the low cut on the effects ... So ...
can be ready to do everything with. I remember an express with whawha blind, boost, distortion and chorus with rate and ultra fast deep ... Weird, but works.

OVERALL OPINION

I myself shall, therefore, 5 months.
Boss is the only effect I have on my pedalboard (incidentally, my DS-2 is tjs sale) and it suits me as it should.
History quibble, I will try out a EHX one of these 4, but it's just nicer to the other cot. What? The sound is more important? Ahhhh thank you!

I'm not going m'tendre: standard format Boss rglages a classical chorus, with level, depth and rate, plus a presence of rglage Bass / treble. Dual output for the stereo (no test) and a standard 9v power supply (no idea of the longevity of battery.)

UTILIZATION

Relatively simple to use. I was looking for a chorus gnraliste enough, and enough "Lger", not something too typ (EHX the exit for me, just to taste) So, the CE5 suits me. I 'd really a very bad memory of Boss pedals, and the latter' m really satisfied. It is the standard Boss, the knobs, the case, the look, nothing fantastic or very new, but that is solid and not cheap. Question

OVERALL OPINION

2 years ago: it's a great pedal, Boss value sre home, like a DS1 or a Digital Delay . I think the price is reasonable quality report. I probably would do this choice, even if I admit that chorus a little more "typ" tempts me from time to time (a MXR but not the same price).
