Maxon has annonced the PAC-9 Pure Analog Chorus, a guitar stompbox which name says it all... well, almost all.

Based on the CS-505 Chorus (which Maxon manufactured for Ibanez from 1979 to 1981), this true-bypass stereo analog pedal is said to deliver a pure and mild chorus sound. Controlwise, the classic Speed and Depth settings can be nuanced using the “Pure” and “Bright” switches.
The PAC-9 can be powered from either a 9V battery or an external power supply. No release price or date was announced as of yet.
Sound samples are available here.
