British boutique manufacturer 4114 Custom Effect was indeed inspired by the iconic Back to the Future movie to design a digital delay pedal but with an analog-style warm sound, according to him.
The Flux Capacitor can generate a delay from 30 to 400ms, but the manufacturer warns that artefacts can appear in the tails with longer effects. You can adjust on the pedal the delay time, mix and “regeneration”, and when enabled, the flux capacitor glows, the meter allows you to keep an eye on the plutonium level (most seriously, the needle reacts to you attack and the trails), and the MPH Meter shows 88.0, indispensable for transportation.
The pedal is powered by a 9V adapter and its dimensions are 120 × 90 mm
The Flux Capacitor is available for £200 if you live in the UK, add £15 for international shipping. More info at 4114customeffects.co.uk.
