See notice below. It's beautiful and strong.
UTILIZATION
Simple, intuitive ... French manual for download in pdf. A € 400, I would have liked a printed version.
SOUND QUALITY
Effects of beauty, but can only really compete with tape echo.
OVERALL OPINION
My view from the version 1.0 firmware.
QUALITIES:
- Superior sound quality
- Wealth of modeling
- Profusion settings
- Intuitive and accurate
- True Bypass can
- The ability to save its settings
- Expression Pedal multi-assignable (can act on several parameters at once)
- Audio Connectors: mono / stereo amp / loop / line
- Midi
- Update USB
DEFECTS:
A little annoying
- It lacks a bit of heat on vintage effects.
- The looper could have been lengthened a little (12s is not enough to save if only 8 measures, while Digital Deluxe MemoryMan reaches 30 seconds, enough to work a 12-bar at ease).
- Inability to time from self-oscillation (will be fixed in firmware version 2)
- I would have appreciated some free presets and more (20 more banks coming in V2)
Quite annoying
- No switch: you have to unplug the transformer when not in use.
- A DSP bypass not transparent enough and causing a slight lag in the dry signal.
- No tap tempo mode presets on the bank unless you buy an auxiliary switch
In short, the final version of the firmware (currently in beta testing) is expected at a halt to make this a marvel masterpiece immortal.
