The Prisoner is in the average price with the delays "high end" ...
I really hsit between Maxon and EHarmonix and here I am in possession of this "little" delay very nice.
- Analog Delay full (with components Jap NOS, which means delays new lines but more factories (New Old Stock )...)
- 300 ms.
- Time (Time) and level of the effect on the original adjustable (Level level ... delay and modulation) ... rptition adjustable (Repeat)
- Modulation intgre ... (Mod + Rate)
The classics are CHARACTERISTICS part to the modulation which is pretty original ...
The 300ms more than enough to lead "delay background"
Note that the pedals Jacques are still a bit "light" at the prsentation and finishing ... It's a shame Maxon comparing a much more flattering or a Memory Man ...
But the main "content" and not "container" so a good place for ... CHARACTERISTICS
UTILIZATION
Like all delays, it takes time to find its feet ...
the rglages are ultimately easy.
However, I find that the modulation is "difficult" for use with the delay ... Indeed, this one seems to be "downstream" of the line behind which gives the final rptitions "modules" rel oddly without benefit to the Search .. .
This product is my most got a "chorus" + "delay pro" that the two mated ... can be part of the modulation is Meistersinger?? To see ...
SOUND QUALITY
The hardware test:
- Fender HotRod dx + Sovtek LPS in EH
- Fender Start HSS United States dx montego black
- Jacques prisoner
- Maxon AD-999 (for comparison)
Its clear
The delay modulation is coupled perfectly usable here ... Note the quality of the modulation trs progressive and less prominent than a chorus num. But having tried a Meistersinger, I think the chorus is a notch-board dea ???!!!
comparison with the Maxon is finally empty:
- The prisoner has a depth of more "industrial", cooler, approaching a more modern numrique delay but without the neutrality of those though: D ... So it is ultimately more versatile than the Maxon ...
- The Maxon is much hot and TRS typ ... It allows a magical step back in time but its DGRAD rptitions ...
In his clear is your style of play that will make you prfrer one of the other ...
Drive:
In good saturation, low delay change the life of a "leader" crazy ...
For one thing, "delay the bottom", it provides a natural suplmentaire sustain signal to the operating principle behind the line ... BPS is a signal so we did "last" ... The sound is supported trs trs pro and ...
Modulation is difficult to use in this case ... Submitted
The comparasion with the Maxon is always the same:
It was a ct a delay more versatile, more modern and more professional in quality rendering (Prisoner), and the other ct a delay full of warmth, and less prcis typ (Ad-999) ...
The choice porterat therefore wish the type of game ...
OVERALL OPINION
Vive la France ...
More srieusement, this product has its place in the pro delays and offers made above all soupsons for analog technology ...
Versatilis his point can be as strong as its weakest
It's a little bridge between maxon, TC and pe ...
