When I mic up my amp, my distortion pedal, Boss Distortion DS-1, sounds all crunchy and bad, even when coming from my amp. I want it too sound good, how can I make it do that? Forexample, my digitech grundge pedal has a Mixer output port, when I hook it up through the mixer output to my amp it sounds so good and perfect but when I plug it back to the amp port it sounds all crunchy and bad. Again how can I make my boss pedal sound good and not so crunchy?

hook the digitech pedal to the mixer and keep it off. Then hook the boss before the digitech and then your guitar.
