UTILIZATION
Editing sounds easy, a lot of possibilities with the 3 position switch + the gain knobs and filter.
SOUND QUALITY
I use this pedal with a U.S. Strat and a Gibson or a master metal lag.
On a Fender Hotrod, it's simple it's my favorite distortion, I sometimes couple with overdrive (bb preamp).
It really helps on the fender sound with lots of harmonics and potato if necessary. It also ensures crunch. You can really sculpt the sound with filter options and adapt to many amp / guitar.
I act on the filter and switch depending on my guitars, it perfectly complements my BB Preamp overdrive.
OVERALL OPINION
I use it for around 2 years, and I no longer seeks distortion (I have owned a number of the mesa vtwin through the wampler triple wreck, bosses, Caroline Guitar, Old Dirty Secret of Rat protonated and c.
It's simple it rang immediately, as soon as I plugged, and provides that warm and fat sound that I like so much!
It covers a lot of Rock / pop style and type in more modern records (muse and c), there really is such crystalline notes that do not sound or brouillonent étoufées on my Fender Hot Rod as could be the case my wampler (which is more suited to Marshall)
I am really fan! Frankly it sounds really good
