I got it from Sound Control for £75. It would of been £80 but I was a fiver short so the guy took down the price ¬_¬

I was after a heavy metal metallica sounding distortion and i found it in this. It is totally awesome! You can get lovley crunchy distortion or really cutting sharp attack. It has allowed me to emulate metallicas sound excellently and when doubled up with delay, the solos can sound just as good!

Yeah everyones been complaining about the battery life. I agree. I already had an AC adapter for my other pedal so I'm using that right now, so the battery life kinda sux. I would like to be able to switch between the different distortions without having to stop and turn the dials by hand, but sound wise, its flawless.

The unit is made out of Cast Iron. In other words, it is unbreakable. I have stomped as hard as i can like 10times in a row on it on stage and it just sits there smiling back at you! It comes with a 6 year warrenty so i think that shows you how confident Digitech are that their product WILL NOT break.

I was looking for a metallica crunchy high gain metal sound and this provides it excellently. I wouldnt mind a gain dial but its not really neccesary as the sounds you can get out of it really dont need tweaked much more. Most amps come with a gain dial anyway so its not all that important. It is a little pricier than other pedals but you get what you pay for. The sound and quality of this stomp box is unbeatable in the distortion pedal field.
