Entrance, exit and ride it.
UTILIZATION
No difficulty using the pedal. Is connected, it works.
To find the sound you need, a beginner might have some problems but nothing complex. The gain determines the amount of distortion, depth settings, low, medium and treble will sound color.
Beware of output, it is a very important setting! Next Level, you can saturate the amp you are attacking. Very useful to boost the signal if you want a second stage distortion.
Small flat on the visibility of cursors on the pedal, not very good with lots of light. It can be awkward to adjust
SOUND QUALITY
I use a Fender Stratocaster and a Gibson. In both cases, I am satisfied.
The quality of the distortion is really good. This gives a very rich harmonically pleasant and natural. The knobs can change the color of its cover so many styles, from simple to metal crunch.
It pays very well in rhythm and solo, pushing a little treble. The character of the guitar is well respected.
The pedal is very quiet and I did not even need a noise gate by pushing the same gain in depth.
The metal a little more raw and modern is not his area of choice. It's not a pedal for that. Similarly, it is a pedal that can change the color but the grain is the same: it sounds very Marshall, british rock.
I've tested in parallel blackstar distortion much more expensive. Clearly there is a big difference. It is all the more feel that pushes the sound of the amp. If it had been on stage, I took the Blackstar. But for me, Marshall is quite sufficient to have fun.
OVERALL OPINION
I use this pedal for a week and am very satisfied. Its quality is really good price (60 €). I've tested other pedals: DS1 DS2 and others and is the only one in this price range that seemed the closest to a distal tube. I also liked the DS2 for its sound but also more modern synthetics.
For anyone who wants to blues-rock-hard british is an excellent choice for not too expensive.
