Anyone recognize this pickup manufacturer and model?

I had my swapped out the pickup on my Fender Esquire in the early 80's, I was thinking it was replaced with a Seymour Duncan or a DiMarzio with flat poles. I just took it out to take a look, both companies said it wasn't one of theirs. There are no identifying markings or sticker. It's wrapped with black electrical tape. Please take a look at the images and let me know what you think it is.
