Nothing to add relative to previous opinions on the characteristics.

The power output is very good, but it is less than that of PE60. (Once you've reached the max on your POD is really the max because there is no volume knob on the Atomic.
Comment on the design of the facade, with its excellent rating vintage.
Too bad the top is tilted and that the ventilation is also on top, as it prevents another amp stack above the horizontal. But it is in the details ...

UTILIZATION

Simpler you die, and a branching zouuuu

SOUNDS

The sound is superb, really discern how he is modeling??
The dynamics and nuance are waiting for you, the sound is not''metal'', if that is the case, then your preset modeling is not adequately addressed.
The palm muting can be daunting with 2 amps of this type in stereo.

OVERALL OPINION

This is an excellent investment. The price of a pod or ToneLab + the cost of an atomic remain well below a typical configuration to achieve the same level of sound quality.
But this does not prevent me from making a reservation as to the price: I have a PE60 and atomic, and I am unable to discern a difference between the two sound .. But the atomic has a floor of tube amplifier, not the PE 60.
This confirms that the lamps have no influence on the sound itself to a power amp.
The PE60 being significantly cheaper than the Atomic, think 2 times before you rush. The point plays in the favor of the atomic is its design and size (less amp salon 'as PE60). The volume, however, is more of PE60.
