Power amplifier transistors 2 x 80 W in 1U, two potentiomtres volume, two inputs and two outputs, slecteur Valvestate / Linear.

UTILIZATION

No easier to use ... If the knobs crack purchase, simply disassemble the unit and clean ...

SOUNDS

Like any power amp transistors, it does not color the sound at all linear. However, with the selector the rear (which would have earned to be in front) Valvestate mode, we get a richer sound with mediums, warmer, more dynamic. A fairly convincing simulation lamps (but hey you prferera all of the same real power amp lamps)

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for a year, bought used 150 euros and 100 euros I resell my ERRF. I tested a rack mesa boogie 20/20, and sound power level, the 8008 is not that the train (good dynamic cot etc, qd mm is difficult to compare one a boogie marshall).

My complaint: the fragility of potentiomtres, and then the box which tends to vibrate if it is not in flight. Otherwise a good power amp for anyone who wants to be a rack not too expensive.
