installed to replace the original HP in a vox AD 15 VT for a few months.
HP chosen based on its response curve, performance and especially for its price.
Results for replacement:
Bass always present that saturate most
mediums much more precise in attack
Treble longer present
the sound of the amplifier is greatly improved (it was not so bad) and it's even better when the receiver is open at the back because the bass level becomes normal.
The HP is important for the quality of the sound result and here lam ajority prices squeeze manufacturers or "enfument" consumers with pure marketing. An HP brand, even 8 inches, will always sound better than HP, 2 balls of unknown origin, especially if it's an HP designed for guitar.
I do not regret having made this change. I put a 9 for the present too low (should really fall)
